On the 17th of May, Allied Telesis announced release of the AR4000S-Cloud UTM (Unified Threat Management) firewall. Characterised by flexible deployment to support today’s cloud-first environment with the launch of the AR4000S-Cloud virtual appliance it supports on-premise Windows HyperV Server and VMware, and on the public cloud environment; Amazon Web Services (AWS). In the future, VirtualBox virtual environments and Microsoft Azure public cloud environments will be supported.
